Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SoravaCue application ("App") developed and operated by Stalwart Crest Inc ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Platform

You must be at least 13 years of age to use SoravaCue. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

SoravaCue is available exclusively on iOS and requires iOS 16.0 or later. The App is distributed solely through the Apple App Store.

2. Account Registration

SoravaCue requires Apple Sign-In to create your account. All free features are available immediately after sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions & Purchases

SoravaCue offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The free tier includes unlimited scripts, front camera recording, adjustable scroll speed, smart cue markers, eye-line guide, countdown timer, and font & speed controls. Pro unlocks Voice Pace, AI Script Writer, caption export (SRT), rear camera, and watermark-free video exports.

  • Billing: All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Subscription prices are displayed in the App and on the App Store listing.
  • Auto-Renewal: The monthly subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until then.
  • Free users: Recordings made on the free tier include a "SoravaCue" watermark. Upgrading to Pro removes the watermark from future recordings.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store policies.

4. AI-Generated Content

The AI Script Writer feature (Pro) generates scripts based on your input (topic, tone, and target duration). A consent dialog is shown before first use. AI generation is limited to 20 requests per day. Regarding AI-generated content:

  • Scripts generated by AI are suggestions only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using any AI-generated content.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or originality of AI-generated scripts.
  • You assume full responsibility for any content you create, record, and publish using the App, whether written manually or generated by AI.
  • AI-generated content should not be used to create misleading, defamatory, or illegal content.
  • Only your topic description, tone preference, and target duration are sent to the AI provider. No other personal data, scripts, or recordings are transmitted.

5. User Content & Responsibility

You retain full ownership of all content you create using SoravaCue, including scripts, recordings, and exported videos. We claim no rights to your content.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and distribute using the App. We are not liable for:

  • The content of videos you record or publish
  • Copyright or intellectual property claims related to your content
  • Any consequences arising from your use of exported captions, videos, or scripts

6. Device Permissions

SoravaCue requires access to certain device capabilities to function. You will be prompted to grant permission for each:

  • Camera — Required to record video while reading from the teleprompter.
  • Microphone — Required to record audio with your video and to enable Voice Pace.
  • Speech Recognition — Used by Voice Pace (Pro) to match your spoken words to the script. All processing is on-device.
  • Photo Library — Used to save recordings to your camera roll when you choose to export.

You can revoke any permission at any time through your device's Settings. Some features may not function without the required permissions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription requirements
  • Use the AI Script Writer to generate content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates the rights of others
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the App or its features

8. Intellectual Property

The SoravaCue name, logo, and all app designs, code, and features are the intellectual property of Stalwart Crest Inc. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal and commercial content creation purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stalwart Crest Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice through the App.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device and cancelling any active subscription.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Stalwart Crest Inc is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
